OUR STORY

It started as a joke. We weren’t trying to create anything more than the food in front of us. There, on the hotline before service at Boccalupo, often revered as holy ground, we first said it out loud: "Wick and Nick’s Hot Salads and Cold Cuts." Everyone laughed.

Years later, at the then 8arm, Jared (Wick) was informed that a pop-up chef had canceled last minute. They offered us the spot, and for the first time, the idea of W+N became a possible reality. The following Sunday, we got our taste of success. In the years that followed, however, we faced challenges and struggled to keep the dream alive.

Our love for making sandwiches never faded. When we became roommates in October 2023, we decided to rebrand and focus exclusively on tasting menus that are truly unique. Every detail, from the dish itself to the table it’s served on, is carefully curated.

This is what we do now—it’s a second job for both of us. Our motto is, "Always a pleasure, never a chore." We’re built for it, and we wouldn’t be suited for anything else. The challenges of hosting these dinners provide us with new perspectives and make us better at what we do. It is an invaluable honor to serve you, and we thank everyone—patrons and critics alike.
